Construction of the Tornion Voima’s gas-engine power plant is progressing on schedule – production to begin in early 2026
Tornion Voima, a subsidiary of EPV Energy, is building a 43-megawatt gas-engine power plant that will provide essential flexibility resources for Finland’s electricity system during variable weather conditions and disruptions. Once completed, it will be Finland’s first modern engine power plant.
